Nirmal Kakkar is an IIT Rookie.  In 1971, he earned his engineering degree. He then resided in a steel township while working for SAIL. He later worked till 2016 for a private corporation. After both of his children left the house and moved to the USA, he has spent the past 20 years living in Delhi.

Coming from a very humble background, Abhishek Sarkar hails from Kolkata, Bengal. He performed his first stage show in his locality Beleghta, Calcutta on the occasion of “Durga puja” Austomi. He has been interested in magic since he was in class 7 but had to build his entire career with no monetary help from him family or anyone. He became a professional magician at a ripe age of 15 years. He started his own Magic institution “MAGIC WORLD” at his home, Beleghata on January, 2006. He is credited with creating 1st Magic reality TV show of Bengal “Bengal Magic Idol”  which was directed & produced by him.

Vijay Bhambri was born in Sri Lanka in 1949 and moved to Delhi, India in 1950. His education took place in Delhi, followed by a degree from Punjab University. Over the course of his career, he spent 34 years in the pharmaceutical industry, retiring as their North India Manager. As an NRI, he went to the USA in 2003 and worked in the motel industry as a front desk manager there for eight years. In 2011, he returned to India. He is now the chief coordinator for Senior Citizens Welfare Forums, Gurgaon. Additionally, he directs an NGO in Rishikesh called Amrit Foundation. He is passionate about singing and is an expert in music. 

Swatantra Yadav, a resident of Barsana village in the renowned pilgrimage site of Mathura city, has dedicated the majority of her life to IIT Kanpur. She holds Master's degrees in Hindi and Sociology, and after obtaining a B.Ed. degree, she embarked on a career in education, joining a prestigious school at IIT Kanpur. Throughout her professional journey, Swatantra Yadav ji served as a postgraduate teacher, ultimately retiring from this role. Notably, she achieved recognition by consistently winning the first prize on Hindi Diwas for multiple years during their tenure. She had been actively involved in social work for seven years at an organization known as Ekchhik Bureau, ( established by the govt) which focused on aiding in the resolution of domestic disputes. During her tenure, she engaged in counseling individuals to facilitate conflict resolution. Throughout her service, she successfully mediated approximately 1000 Keshav cases, ensuring that divorces were granted only in name and not in actuality in these instances.

Mr. Sushil Kumar Sharma, a graduate engineer from Thapar College of Engineering, Patiala, embarked on a distinguished career path. Upon selection by the Public Service Commission for the cadre of State Training Service, he assumed the role of Technical Officer in Lucknow. Throughout his tenure, he served in various capacities, including Principal at ITI and Joint Director for the World Bank Project. His illustrious career culminated with his retirement as Additional Director in 2004.Post-retirement, Mr. Sharma delved into his passion for music. In 2022, he achieved a Senior Diploma in Music with distinction, leveraging his expertise to compose innovative songs.

Ranjana Banerjee studied literature at Delhi University. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and has served as the cultural secretary of the Delhi University Arts Faculty and Mahila Samiti. She enjoys reading and gardening and devotes her spare time to charitable endeavors. She is very close to all the Emoha members.
